Integrating Indigenous Peoples’ Values to Promote Sustainable Science and Technology Decisions Purpose and Goals: The Session is intended to describe the cultural, historical, social, and other values of indigenous peoples that should be incorporated into science and technology decision-making processes. The goal of this Session is to demonstrate the nexus between values and sustainability. Desired Outcomes: The Session will bring together scientists, engineers, researchers, and representatives of Indian tribes and other indigenous peoples, government agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and industry, to identify and examine their respective concerns, issues, and expectations related to science and technology decision-making. Session participants will also draw up an action/research agenda to address outstanding concerns and issues, and to reconcile differing expectations. Potential Presenters:
