BREAKOUT SESSIONS & WORKSHOPS
LEEDing Green Planning and Design: HOK Presentation Purpose and goals: Emphasizing a wholistic approach to building green, including sustainable planning and landscape design for watershed protection, and cost effective, multi-functional building-integrated design elements. Considerations include sustainability and order of magnitude. Desired Outcomes: A greater understanding of the interrelationship between healthy environments, green building practices, and the preservation of our natural resources Potential Presenters:
Session Format: Four presenters will each give a short 15 minute presentation structured around the US Green Building Council’s LEED Green Building Rating System. The presentations will emphasize the importance of an integrated, multi-disciplined team in accomplishing an adaptable, building integrated green design.
