National Tribal Environmental Council

Nevada Indian Environmental Coalition
NIEC was founded in 1991 in Reno, Nevada, by five Indian tribes of Nevada seeking to develop environmental programs that would protect their people and lands. Since its inception, NIEC has grown to include 24 Indian colonies and reservations.
Nisga'a Homepage
The Nisga'a have concluded a treaty with British Columbia and they are at the point of answering public concerns and criticisms about its implementation. They are the first British Columbian First Nation to conclude a treaty, with others soon to follow.
