| Program Description | | The NOAA Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) Program was established in 2002 to increase environmental stewardship and appreciation of the watershed and marine environment. The California B-WET grant program, is a competitively based program that supports existing environmental education programs, fosters the growth of new programs, and encourages the development of partnerships among environmental education programs throughout the San Francisco Bay, Monterey Bay, and Santa Barbara Channel watersheds. Funded projects provide Meaningful Watershed Experiences to students and teachers. Proposals must address one or both of the two areas of interest: (1) Meaningful Watershed Experiences for Students; or (2) Professional Development in the Area of Environmental Education for Teachers. |
